Here’s What’s Happening in May

Bingo is back! In partnership with The Springs, we are providing the location, coffee, and treat. In turn, they will provide all the bingo accessories, a caller, and a banker. Please arrive early so we can begin promptly at 1:00. We will be done at 2:00. The price of entry is $1 and the bingo cards are 25 cents each. Please remember to bring small bills or coin.

Board Meeting every 3rd Thursday is open to the public. In May we also have an annual meeting in the evening on May 20 at 7:00 pm. All members are encouraged to come hear our financial reports and our review of activities from last year. A Q&A period will be entertained.

Book Club on the 3rd Friday is back at 2:15. This activity is free to Community Center members; non-members pay $4.

Community Conversations is a brown bag event in our activity room. This month will be an informational, educational program about life enrichment and creative activities for seniors. This would be of interest to any caregiver, family member or friend wanting to keep a senior more engaged in their world. Be sure to come ready to enjoy a fun activity and great presentation. The program is presented by The Springs.

Dementia Support is brought to our location by The Springs in Whitefish. Join us from 6:00 to 7:00 pm for inspiration and education for anyone caring for loved ones through the journey of dementia.

Knitting Group is back on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 2:15. Members of the Center are free; non-members are $4.

Ping Pong on Monday and Friday mornings. We provide the table, paddles, and balls. You bring the players!
