The Community Center will once again offer a monthly Toe Nail Clinic as well as Free Podiatry Screenings provided by Matthew Jenkins, DPM and Benjamin Webb, DPM of Northern Montana Foot and Ankle Specialist. The first clinic will be held on Thursday, January 20, starting at 3pm for 15-minute appointments. The fee for toe nail trimming can be billed to Medicare or is $25 for nail trimming and an additional $5 for calluses. Please call in advance for an appointment.
We would like to thank the Whitefish Credit Union for their challenge to the 263 young readers who signed up for the Whitefish Library’s Summer Reading Challenge and met the goal by reading for 4,958 hours last summer, resulting in a $500 donation to our Meals on Wheels program.
Hurray! Jim and Karen Morrell will be the Community Center’s king and queen, representing the Center at the 2022 Winter Carnival festivities, February 4-6. They have been a vital part of Whitefish since moving here from the San Diego, CA, area in 1994. Their community activity involvement includes the Moose Lodge, Winter Carnival Board of Directors and High Ullr Award, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, the Chamber of Commerce, Trustee and Life member of Whitefish VFW Post

Both Kathy and Michelle have decided to retire.
