CATGRIZ!
All members and volunteers are invited to watch the 2022 Brawl of the Wild at YOUR Whitefish Community Center. This family friendly event will start at 11:30 am on Saturday Nov. 19. This will be a potluck style event so please bring your favorite appetizers and drinks. Wear your favorite team gear and enjoy one of Montana’s greatest rivalries.


BALLROOM DANCING
Put on your dancing shoes and come to the Whitefish Community Center on Sunday, November 13 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm to dance the afternoon away! Dance to a string of your favorite songs. Requests for songs can be made as well. The dance floor is large, with room to show off your dance moves, or just come sit and watch. Come and enjoy. Free admission.

THANK YOU, GREAT FISH!
The 2022 Great Fish Challenge closed on Friday, September 16. The Whitefish Community Center would like to extend a grateful thank you for each and every donation made to us. This year’s donation amount is $26,526.68 , the matching amount from the Whitefish Community Foundation, $12,000, giving us a total of $38,526.68 . The funds raised help the Center maintain and expand our community outreach through the Meals on Wheels program and to increase the senior citizen activities


BOOK CLUB NEWS
The Book Club meets at the Center the third Friday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Come and join the group to meet new people and discuss the Book of the Month. Never been part of a book club before? No worries. We are a friendly, congenial group and easy to become a part of. Each month one of our members volunteers to lead and direct our discussion. MEDICARE FOR YOU
The 2023 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is quickly approaching, and you may be thinking about changes to your Medicare plan. The open enrollment period for changes is October 15–December 7. You must make any changes within this time period. WHITEFISH MUSEUM PRESENTATION
The Stumptown Historical Society is turning 40 years old this year! The Society was founded in 1982 and is dedicated to preserving the history of Whitefish and the Flathead Valley. The Whitefish Museum is located at the Whitefish Train Depot and is a great place to visit.
