Birthday Buzz for March

On Friday, March 29, we will honor our March babies with a fabulous birthday party! As coincidence would have it, this is also the day Kathy Cozad was born! (Kathy is the site manager who generally works on Mondays and Tuesdays.) Come join in the festivities; Kathy would love to see you! Lunch is served at 11:30, with birthday cake following at noon. If your birthday falls in March, your lunch is free! Don’t forget to RSVP to 862-4923.

Call to history buffs

The Museum of the Rockies wants all Montana adult communities to be able to engage with museum professionals, so it is bringing the museum to us. This is a free live-stream event. The Museum of the Rockies has partnered with an organization called “Live Living Network,” which provides the programming. We will initially offer three program selections, one per month. Join us as Montana history comes to life in our theatre-style smart TV room. Lifelong learning now has a local venue. Please help us spread the word. The first show will air on Friday, March 1, at 2:10 pm, at Whitefish Community Center: “Big Teams in the Big Sky.” Before the advent of the tractor, farmers and ranchers in Big Sky C

Bingo!

We would like to invite all bingo lovers to play once a month at the Community Center. Our first session will be Monday, March 11, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The Springs has graciously agreed to partner with us by lending their equipment and providing a caller. Our thanks to them in advance. We are set to do this the second Monday of each month, if the interest is there. So bring a friend or two! Join us for lunch at 11:30 by calling ahead for a lunch reservation (862-4923). If you are 60 or better and have never lunched with us before, your meal is complementary. Put

(Can we all recall the East Coast event from 1969?) We were honored to have Sandi Bellissimo and her husband, Jim Bellissimo, as our royalty for this year’s event. Sandi is a regular at our fitness classes and previously served as a trustee on our Board of Directors. Because Jim is getting close to retirement, we hope to see more of him at the Communi
