Yoga - All Ages
Mondays @ 9:30am
Yoga - All Ages and Abilities is the perfect way to start your Monday morning. This class is open to all of our members for free.
Senior Fitness
Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 10:00am
Low impact aerobics both sitting in chairs and standing, asymmetric exercises with rubber bands and using balls to improve coordination. Open to men and women of all ages, friendly welcoming atmosphere. Meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am.
Pinochle & Cribbage
Tuesdays @ 12:00pm
Game time! All levels welcome, just show up and we will get introduced and set up.
Whitefish Together
Tuesdays @ 9:00am
This group is geared towards families with babies 0-24 months but older siblings are welcome. Hosted by local parents, our mission is to create an open space for babies and their people to gather, play, share and connect through the ups and downs of the early years. Meet other parents and caregivers, and form lasting friendships!
Ladies Mahjong
Wednesdays @ 11:00am
This Chinese game is played, usually by four people, with 136 or 144 rectangular pieces called tiles. The object is to collect winning sets of these tiles, as in card games such as gin rummy. A dedicated group of women meet and play once a week and welcome more players!
Tai Chi
Wednesdays @ 10:00am
Master Hamer teaches a class for all ability levels that focuses on stability, mobility and flexibility. Slow, graceful movements improve balance. Focused postures encourage mindful movement of the body. Deliberate, low speed promotes improved circulation and develops mental growth.
Spanish for Toddlers
Returning in June 2025
WCC Board Member and former Whitefish High School Spanish teacher, Lya (Luna) Hardwicke, will be introducing toddlers to the Spanish language through songs and other activities. Luna will be joined by Brooke Myhre and Janis Pierce in creating a fun atmosphere for learning. Toddlers, ages 3-5, with their parents.

Toe Nail Clinic
Last Monday every 2 Months @ 1:00pm
Monthly day to give some love and care to your hard working toes. Come in anytime from 1pm-3pm and have professionals Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Webb trim your toe nails to perfection. This service is free to members and $10 for non-members.
Senior Member Tours
When Announced
Glacier National Park, Longview Lavendar Farms, Whitefish Mountain Gondola Rides, we do it all! Our senior members are welcome to join us on tours all over the valley. Get out, enjoy friends, have lunch, and see some incredible sites! These trips are frequently provided at little to no cost. Small cash to tip bus drivers is much appreciated.

Spoken Word Story Workshop
Crafting short non-fiction essays to tell out loud is a bit different than writing for publication &/or private reading. Learn a 4-part short storycrafting structure plus basic presentation skills to help shape your life lessons -- heartfelt, amusing &/or surprising -- into engaging tell-able tales. You'll also get content and performance coaching from our workshop leaders, Barbara and Glenn Schiffman who curate and host Flathead Story Concerts as occasional live local events.
Exploring Grand Canyon - Linda Smith
Linda Smith will guide us on an adventure through 1.5 billion years of
Earth history. We will examine how sedimentary rock is deposited and
how fossils can help us understand the distant past. We will see how people explore the park today, hiking on foot, riding a mule or rafting the Colorado River. John Westley Powell will be joining us…..(only in spirit) This will be a fun presentation. The scenery will be spectacular.
Pompeii in 79 A.D. - Linda Smith
Let's explore Pompeii, Italy, as it was before and after 79 A.D. In that year, Mt Vesuvious erupted and buried the city with 13 to 20 feet of ash in only 18hrs. The ash fall was so intense that daylight was blocked and it becamme dark as night. This devastating event preserved the city providing valuable insight into ancient Roman life.
Exploring Glacier Park - Linda Smith
Linda Smith shares what happened to the giant glacial Lake Missoula at the end of the ice age. The Blackfeet nation lived in the area for thousands of years before the Great Northern Railway laid track and built grand Hotels. See the contributions George Bird Grinnell and John F. Stevens made to a future Glacier national Park. Learn how “Going-To-The-Sun”road was designed and built. Finally....take a hike and have closeup encounters with animals that call this park home.
Crossings with Ben Goldfarb
The Center for Large Landscape Conservation and Glacier Two Medicine-Alliance are proud to present a reading by conservation journalist Ben Goldfarb from his most recent book CROSSINGS, a scientific and literary feat, highlighting the impact of the 40 million miles of roadways that encircle our planet. For wildlife and ecosystems, roads are forces of disruption and at times causes of death.
Creative Writers' Circle
If you're seeking a writing community, consider joining the Creative Writers' Circle. We offer a variety of prompts to ignite your creativity, awaken your inner writer, and overcome writer's block. Sharing your work with the group is affirming, and we provide only positive feedback to spotlight your strengths.

February Glacier Park Series
A crowd favorite! February Wednesday Evenings took us from the peaks to the valleys of Glacier National Park with four amazing speakers.
Language Events
We hosted German, French, and Spanish conversational teas in 2023. There were tasty treats to eat, coffee and tea, and plenty of conversation!
Monthly Ballroom Dancing
Push back the furniture and turn up the music! Volunteers Son and Amanda Vu organized dances with all your favorite music. Waltz, Cha Cha, Two Step, Swing, Argentine Tango, Western. It was...well, a ball!
Tech help Seniors to Seniors!
Members of the junior and senior high came and spent a day answering questions and helping seniors with all things tech. From computers to smart phones, the teens were an amazing help to those of us who are a bit technologically challenged.
Explore! Presentations
Presenter Linda Smith delighted us with monthly presentations that took us from ancient Egypt to outer space. There are plans to have her return this year so stay tuned!
August Writers Evening Series
Wednesday summer evenings in August were a real treat as we enjoyed readings and conversations with four local authors.
Car Window Wash
Board members and volunteers scrubbed the dust and bug juice off windshields for free!
September Caregivers Series
September Wednesday evenings were excellent resources for those of us caring for aging family members. Four speakers covered a wide range of topics and answered questions.
Fall Risk Assessment Event
Jessica Connelly visited us with a very informative and helpful lecture as well as a free fall assessment test to any willing participants.

Special Christmas card making event for Veterans and folks in the hospital.
Reverse Mortgages Lecture
We learned the ins and outs of Reverse Mortgages and were able to ask questions of local broker, Ed Nissen.

It smelled tasty in the Center as members and visitors put their treat making skills to work.
