Membership benefits

Did you know that WCC offers a lifetime membership? Our annual membership is $10; our lifetime membership is $100. Like so many other things, this lifetime membership is set to increase in price. We all know why: the price of water, power, communication services, and other costs of doing business are on the rise. So, as of 2020, the lifetime price will go to $200. The good news is this: buy a lifetime membership before the end of 2019 and get yourself a great deal. What do you get from a membership? · Free weekly health and fitness classes · Complimentary coffee and snacks from 9 am to 2 pm every day · Free use of our Wi-Fi and comfortable seating areas · Complimentary CARE call program · Fr

The CARE (call) program

Whitefish Community Center has a program that may benefit you or a loved one. It’s known as CARE, which stands for Call Reassurance and is designed to assist persons who live alone. WCC offers this service FREE to all its members. The program is designed to check on members living alone by calling them each day at a designated time. The system is automated and will only seek assistance if the phone calls are not answered. Again, this service is free and available only to members of WCC. If you, or anyone you know, would benefit from this service, please call us at 406-862-4923. We will be glad to assist you in obtaining this valuable service for yourself or someone you know.

New menu option

Many of you are looking for something fresh and light as a mid-day meal, especially through the summer. So we will offer a salad of the week throughout July. The menu for the salad of the week will come soon. Expect it to be Cobb salad, Oriental chicken salad, Mediterranean salad, chef salad, Caesar chicken salad, or a cold plate of meat, cheese and fruit. One selection will be available each week, with a dinner roll and choice of dressing. Please share this news with your friends and come join us for lunch! Remember to make a reservation the day ahead at 862-4923.

Introducing Rhonda Woody

We are pleased and excited to have you meet our newest co-site manager, Rhonda Woody. Prior to the month of June, we knew her as a Thursday driver for Meals on Wheels, volunteering each week to deliver the West Route and the Mountain View Manor apartment complex. We have lost a great volunteer driver but have gained a tremendous site manager! About Rhonda: she was born and raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts. She lived there until she was 21 then headed to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She stayed there for several years, enjoying the great outdoors and skiing. In 1993, she moved to the Flathead Valley, where she met her husband and started her family. She has two daughters, one 16 and one 12.
