How the Classes Work
Classes are taught in 4-week series, with two dances per series. Each week builds on the last, allowing dancers to develop timing, technique, and muscle memory. After each series, a new set of dances begins.
Beginner Class – Drop In Anytime
Perfect for new dancers or anyone wanting to strengthen their basics.
-
Learn basic steps and timing
-
Lots of repetition to build confidence
-
Most beginners need 4 weeks or more to feel comfortable
-
Many dancers repeat the beginner series before moving up
-
You may join the beginner class at any point during a series.
Intermediate Class - Builds week-to-week
For dancers comfortable with the basic steps of a particular dance.
-
Builds week-to-week with new patterns and skills
-
Missing a class won’t put you too far behind but the class does not wait
-
Intermediate dancers are encouraged to also attend the beginner class to strengthen fundamentals and help newer dancers
No Partner Needed!
Come with or without a dance partner.
-
Learning to lead and follow works best when dancing with many people
-
Partners rotate during class so everyone gets to dance
-
Couples may stay together if they prefer
Attire Recommendations
