Welcome, Michelle!

Hello Whitefish Community Center members!

I am very excited to become part of this worthwhile community organization. I feel fortunate to have been selected for the comanager position.

I am a born-and-raised Whitefish local. My parents were also born in Whitefish. My maternal grandparents settled in town around 1910. It goes without saying that I have deep roots and affection for “Stumptown.”

My husband and I returned to Whitefish in 1982 after working out of state off and on for a few years. After deciding to make Whitefish our home, we owned two businesses and made a living from the timber industry. In 1994, we became a railroad family and raised our two sons through elementary, middle and high school in Whitefish schools. Over the years, we have been involved as volunteers in baseball, football and scouting.

I look forward to working with the board of Whitefish Community Center and Meals on Wheels and am hoping soon to be helping organize post-Covid events and activities!
