We are so grateful!

On Friday, September 18, the Great Fish Challenge came to a close.

The people of this valley are amazing, their donations to our Community Center totaled $19,249. Each and every donation warmed our hearts.

The funds we raised will maintain and expand community outreach through our current Meals on Wheels program, in addition to increasing awareness through marketing, senior citizen activities and program growth. A portion of it will support operating costs for the Whitefish Community Center.

This is turning out to be a year of epic adjustments, between our Covid closure and building construction. The grant money from Great Fish is coming at a time when revenue from other sources, such as our building rental, have disappeared.

A grand and heartfelt thank you goes to the Whitefish Community Foundation for organizing and implementing this community project. We want everyone to know that the folks there work tirelessly to make this six-week campaign successful for all the participating nonprofits. Everyone at the Whitefish Community Center sends our sincerest thanks to the Whitefish Community Foundation for the support they provide to our community during this annual summer fundraising effort.
