Here’s What’s Happening in June

6/9 and 6/23 - TRAIL WALKS - Leaders will be Don Stolte and Bill Schustrom. On the 9th they will head north from the Whitefish Community Center at 9:00am, returning by 10:00am. On the 23rd, they will lead the group south from the Community Center at 9:00am, returning by 10:00. If there is interest in this activity, July walks will be scheduled in other directions, on other trails.

6/16 – Community Conversation, noon to 1:00pm. This week’s subject will be downsizing and the many areas to consider when undertaking this project. This event is hosted by professionals at The Springs.

6/21 Bingo – back by popular demand with the partnership of The Springs. Arrive at 12:45. Cost is $1 entry and 25 cents per card. Door prizes, snacks, and coffee are complimentary.

6/24—Our favorite saxophone player, Rob Verdi, member of the Disneyland Band, is doing a return engagement here on June 24 at 4pm. Cost is $10, members $5. He will be traveling with his special collection of instruments and will entertain you with a range of music styles. A great time to consider buying a membership in WCC (only $10), memberships will be available at the door.
