The WCC Board of Directors Listens to YOU!

Whitefish Community Center has a board of directors whose members volunteer their time, attention, and follow-through on behalf of the 200 members who pay an annual fee of $10.00. Board members meet once each month throughout the year to discuss and vote on the affairs of the Center. The board of directors is the governing body of a nonprofit. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing the organization's activities.

Every WCC member has a “golden” opportunity to speak privately to a board member about his or her concerns and/or suggestions. With your guidance and knowledge, the board can improve, modernize and ENERGIZE the Center.

Do you have an idea for a weekly activity that will attract new members?

Do you have suggestions on how to “spiff up” the Center or know of someone who would donate outdoor plants, bushes, flowers or sitting benches to the Center?

Are there specific movies you wish to add to our shopping list for the new DVD player? Romance, travel, historical, comedy, musicals?

Board members will share your views, concerns, even complaints, at their roundtable discussions. In this manner, your voice will be heard. Don’t hesitate to speak up!
