Great Fish Community Challenge
2024
Help us raise $50,000
in Five Weeks!
It's Great Fish Time!
We are so thrilled to announce that we are joining The Great Fish Community Challenge once again this summer. This is put on by the Whitefish Community Foundation. As a non-profit organization, this challenge is our largest fundraiser and we are so honored to be a part of this impactful fundraising effort. The Great Fish Challenge has raised $28M for Flathead Valley non-profits since 2015.
This year we hope to raise $50,000 during the 5 weeks from August 8th to September 13th.
Throughout this challenge we will provide weekly updates on where we are at in our fundraising efforts and how you can get involved. Follow us on our social media platforms and here on our website to track our progress and cheer us on!
Ways to Give
There are several ways you can donate to the Whitefish Community Center during the Great Fish Community Challenge.
Please note:
Donations have to be processed through the Whitefish Community Foundation's website or via their official forms to count towards our fundraising goals.
Click the QR code on the left to view the Whitefish Community Foundation's official web page. You can read all about this incredible event and donate online using their Donation Portal.
If you would like to write a check, you can download one of the Official Donation Forms provided on the left to accompany your check. These donations can be dropped off at the Whitefish Community Center or turned in at any of the Great Fish events.
Your donation will be magnified during this challenge as the Whitefish Community Foundation will provide a percentage match on the first $25,000 raised!
Ways to Get Involved
Interested in helping the Whitefish Community Center during the Great Fish Community Challenge?
1. Donate! Donate! Donate!
2. Volunteer to write thank you cards to donors.
3. Volunteer at our Fun Float event to represent the center: August 25th (burgers, root beer, music, and more!)
4. Show up to pop-up events to represent the center with signs and have fun!
5. Peer-to-peer Fundraising: reaching out to businesses, friends, churches and institutions who believe in supporting initiatives like ours! On the left sidebar we have downloadable brochures and newsletters that you are welcome to print and distribute to aid in your fundraising efforts.
We want to thank each of our members and volunteers for the amount of support they have given each year to make this happen. We look forward to coming together once again this summer to reach our goal of $50,000 in 5 weeks!
Gathering places are important for civil society, democracy, civic engagement, and establishing feelings of a sense of place.
