Whitefish Community Center has a board of directors whose members volunteer their time, attention, and follow-through on behalf of the 200 members who pay an annual fee of $10.00. Board members meet once each month throughout the year to discuss and vote on the affairs of the Center. The board of directors is the governing body of a nonprofit. Adam Hammatt recently came to Whitefish Community Center to meet with several WCC Board members. It was his first visit and lasted forty-five minutes, during which he enjoyed a “nickel tour” and meeting our long-time site manager Kathy Cozad. Adam moved to Whitefish from Wisconsin to start his new position as City Manager in March of this year. He was born and raised in Great Falls, and family members remain in that area. Our 1st annual egg hunt for grown-ups. No kids or grand kids, mature ladies and gents only. We amused ourselves with a carrot toss, egg toss, egg coloring, and egg hunt. Easter bonnets were encouraged. Can't wait for next year!
