Donations make it all possible

The Whitefish Community Center programs are run with the help of volunteers, an all-volunteer Board of Directors and 2 dedicated part-time staff members.  While volunteers help keep things humming, there are still bills that need to be paid. From utilities, building & site maintenance, staff wages to program costs we need funds to keep our doors open and our programs free or very affordable for all community members. 

We are always looking for new programs and activities that bring a health, educational or social well being to our community, such as the recent lecture series “Caring for Aging Family Members” a free series focusing on issues related to taking care of elderly family and friends or our new addition to our exercise classes, “Balancing Act” a low-cost exercise class aimed at reducing the risk of falls and increasing balance and coordination.

Each year we hold a variety of fundraisers and we apply for grants.  But these do not cover all of our costs. This is where we ask for your help… donations to our 501(c)(3) organization are tax deductable and we take the job as stewards of your donated dollars very seriously.  Please open your heart and your wallet to help continue our services and maintain your community center for many years to come.
