History of Whitefish Program: “My Funny Valentine"
Did you marry your high school sweetheart or was he or she the one that got away? Share your memories of your Valentines of the past when the History of Whitefish program series continues with Walter Sayre of the Stumptown Historical Society, in a program we’re calling “My Funny Valentine”

This free community program will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 12:30 pm at the Whitefish Community Center (121 E Second St.) Audience stories and photos about their childhood sweethearts are encouraged. For information call (406) 862-4923.

Arts and Craft Class - Batiks!
Create beautiful Batik Fabric Art at the next Arts & Craft Class on February 17th at 12:30 pm. The cost of the class is just $9 ($8 for Community Center Members) and includes all the materials needed to complete the project. Easy step-by-step instructions will be given by Charity from the Stumptown Arts Studio. Call the Center by February 15th at 862-4923 to reserve your spot.

Tai Chi: Offered each Monday at 10:30 am. Taught by John Alaniz who has over 20 years experience in Tai Chi. Classes are free, but donations are appreciated.

Balancing Act - A one hour exercise class if offered FREE to the community every Wednesday at 10am at the Whitefish Community Center. This class is designed to improve balance and coordination and to prevent falls in older individuals.

Yoga for Healthy Aging: ** Will resume February 7, 2012 ** Tuesdays at 9:30 am at the Whitefish Community Center. Taught by Tara LaVelle, these classes will emphasize improving flexibility, healthy breathing techniques and mind/body connection. Participants should wear fitted comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat if they have one. Class is $5 per session ($3 for Whitefish Community Center members).
